How To: Save a Microsoft Word 2007 File as a Rich Text Format (rtf) File
Resolution:
Step 1: Open your document in MS Word.
Step 2: Click on the Office button in the top left corner.
Step 3: Highlight Save As, then select Other Formats.
Step 4: Select save as type, scroll down and select Rich Text Format.
Click Save.
